Hey! Where were you at 3:15 pm on June 1, 2010? It’s a random question, I know. But if you have kept a journal you might be able to answer that question. Good writing is all in the details, and a lot of famous writers use journals to process their ideas, break writer’s block, or just to increase their writing flow. One of my writing heroines, Susan Sontag, expressed her passion for journaling by saying, “In the journal I do not just express myself more openly than I could to any person; I create myself.”
It’s a valuable tool in your writer’s toolkit and I encourage you to try it out! But first, watch this video to help guide your journaling journey. And, remember that I’m excited to be your personal writing muse. Together, let’s make YOUR words legendary!
